An Organizational Audit of the Spokane Police Department.
This audit required examining organizational culture, ethical infrastructure, leadership behavior, and systems of accountability within the Spokane Police Department. Using public administration theories and real misconduct cases, I identified structural weaknesses, cultural challenges, and opportunities for leadership reform. I proposed solutions such as expanding independent oversight and restructuring authority to reduce ethical conflicts.
This project demonstrates my leadership ability to analyze complex organizational environments, confront systemic issues, and propose practical reforms grounded in public administration theory. It strengthened my understanding of ethics, governance, and the importance of transparent leadership in public service.
